We are proud of our heritage in housebuilding and construction. It all started in 1880 when John Dickie formed John Dickie & Sons. The business grew as each generation took control creating a renowned reputation in the west of Scotland.
In 1994 brothers Matt & Alex decided to sell the business to the management and 3i venture capital, with John Dicke the great-grandson of the founder remaining in the business as a director until 2000. That year a decision was taken to form a new family business teaming up with his brother William and Colin Moore.
Twenty years on with a flourishing commercial construction business and a growing housebuilding division we are delighted to welcome Harry Dickie as the 6th generation into the family business, ever-expanding the family ethos that our company relies on.
Our aspirations are to expand our current operations in the north of England and Scotland whilst continuing to provide a level of service that would make our forefathers proud.
Therefore, we are delighted to be developing in Thornton Cleveleys, Lancashire as we are extremely keen to share our expertise and exceptional homes further across the UK whilst still maintaining a prominent personal and family-orientated service.
